Question: How did you lay the deck planks? I mean, what building scheme did you use?
Hi Gunther, Great question :) I made a bit of a boo boo I used 3 shift rather than 4 shift I only noticed the actual ship used the 4 shift system when I watched a documentary on the Victory. They are 1mm thick maple boards 10, 6.6 and 3.3mm lengths to start a run. hope that explanation is helpful.

Hey Brie,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that helped me a lot. Your Victory is really great and I'm sure it will be an amazing model. I'll be glued to your build report!!!

Cheers

Sorry its been a while but been busy with real life stuff so managed to do bits and bobs and getting on with the inner bulkhead planking after the outer took some time (did it twice :( not happy with the first effort so had to strip planks off, didn't go well lol )
Any way some pics for you

She's looking great Bri
One question for you: I see that you followed the Caldercraft booklet guidelines and painted Ochre the 1mm deep gun port lip. Did you paint the lip before painting the gun port Red or the reverse. Just for curiosity.
Thanks

Hi, I painted the red gunport first then the surrounding colour then touched the red again and clear coat to protect it. Hope that's a clear explanation ?

Hi, Very nice work. Can you please post more photos of the hull? Are you using copper plates? Thanks Joe

Like your work to date. Very nice! Did the copper plates come with the kit or did you purchase them separately? If purchased separately from where?
With what did you apply them?
Thank you.

Thanks for the photos. Well Done and excellent work.

I am building the Eaglemoss Endeavour and I have the Delprado Victory without the copper plates.
