Allan, I now have the problem of recreating the effect of the flashing over the wooden frame (supplied) or do I just paint it grey ?Thanks Bri I was picturing a solid chunk of lead, Dopey me. An AI search says historically, lead sheathing, (then later copper) ,over a wooden framework was used on the quarter galleries. Thank you for bringing this up.

Please keep us up to date, hopefully it will be a good addition to our libraries. Could you post a photo of the table of contents? THANK YOUAs I'm getting towards the rigging and don't have a clue I bought this book to help me .....hope it's worth it
