Hello friends,

in this last part of my presentation of Manfred's model I'll concentrate on the crew. Some of the crew members were made after the 40 year's building period of the model and the core crew, that means after 2012. If you have a closer look on them you can see, that each figure has its own individual face and a natural posture.
In some cases, Manfred has portrayed himself as a crew member.

WOW - fascinating details - I like the seat of ease very much
Do you know, from which manufacturer the basic figurines were produced?

He made every figure himself. Don't ask me about the psychological qualities one must have for something like this. I cannot imagine that he made the first figure with full awareness that he would have to make 100 more individual ones. I don't think about it because it's inconceivable to me.

Here is a short description how he made the figures:

06.jpg The first one was this gunner: 01.JPG

Each figure was made according to a natural posture, for which he or his grandchildren were models:

The last pics should be dedicated to the model itself (they haven't been shown at the beginning).
