JIM BYRNES : Byrnes Model Machines "open again"

yeah I was trying to find the table saw myself to purchase one. I guess I will go with the micro lux
If you are looking to purchase the table saw, contact Donna, Jim’s wife directly at mmllc@cfl.rr.com. I just received mine in August and I love it! I also have the MicroMark Tilt Arbor saw. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. I’m giving the MicroMark saw to my daughter. I was able to make an Advent calendar for my grandson, consisting of 25 drawers, each with dados. The drawers were made of Baltic birch and the frame is red oak. It’s almost complete. I just need to add base molding. IMG_6092.jpeg The saw cut through the oak like butter. Very quiet machine, too.

...you can try, and let us know. ;)
I actually got the email from this website from another post by someone who obtained the saw. It could be further up in this thread or another thread. Jim’s wife is lovely and responded to my email within a couple of days. I have since ordered additional blades. Give it a try. It may take a little while to hear from her. If I’m not mistaken it was around this time last year that he passed?

I have the the power switch not firing issue on the table saw, does anyone know what is the part name/number that needs replacement?
I also have another issue with the arbor bearings, its hard to spin and and saw is not even cutting soft wood anymore, only 4 years of use :( no idea how to fix this, the bearings seem to be out of place, can anyone post a photo of the arbor area to see the allignment of things? mine seems off, I will update with photos.

I also have the disc sander with adjustable speed and the thinkness sander, the last is still working but the disc sander has died, the motor burnt out. I'm looking for the same motor but I can't find it anywhere, any suggestions or solutions?

as for the table saw blades I have succsefully upgraded the saw to a bigger blade with no cosmatics downside at all, the same look like before and with bigger carbide blade, I will also share the process but as I never posted here and don't know where to post the process of converting, can anyone suggest where to post this info? what forum what topic... etc. Finally I hope that we can overcome any current or future issue with these machines, please share your experience and findings so we can benifit all. Since you mentioned global marketing, if you're discussing the best way to market tools or custom modifications, sharing insights from global marketing strategies could tie in well, especially if you're helping others sell or promote their custom solutions online!
It sounds like you're facing a few technical issues with your table saw and disc sander.
