The table started out as an attempt at an HO scale train layout. When I ran out of ideas to make it work I turned it into the work table layout you see here. My wife suggested the upper table for storing unbuilt models.I always banging my head over the ceramic heating plates ventilator, so the set up with a secong floor is not recommended for me
Good Idea. IT gives you a lot of place and a well ligthened Area. But I still think about my head... I am a little bit dummy aboutmy space surrounding relationship.
I like your working place - with a lot of storage area (permanent but also temporary)

As the moment there is a scratch built PS Waverley sitting on a shelf, a Billings Bluenose which needs rigging sitting in a cupboard, two huge Virgin Atlantic Challengers, an old banger of a car and tucked away under the bench is some old model railway stuff from my youth which has been dragged from house to house for more than half a century.
Is that a TV remote? When on earth do you get time to watch the tellie?I hope this behavior is normal....

LOL Yes it is. I use it as a display for my computer to watch ship building videos and research and to play music mostly. Sometimes it's just background noise.
That does look cosy but it wouldn’t suit me. I only have eight kits on hand but I keep them in their own cupboard, out of sight and out of my mind as much as possible. Otherwise I’d be building them all simultaneously. Ha!
That’s not all of my models. Some are still packed away in boxes. This is part of a one car garage. I also have two recliners and a tv for my wife and me. I want to make room for my wife to do her crafts. Just takes time.
I consider myself fortunate to live only with a small dog. (I tried wives but didn't really like living with humans.) We are happy for the hobby space to be the entire apartment. I build boats or read, on one or other of my recliners
and he sunbathes and supervises.
Occasionally he chews a plank to tell me it's time to go walkies.
