Le Coureur 1776, model 1:48 by Adi

Wow Adi. You must either have been an exceptionally good boy all year, or your wife and children love you very much. ROTF. I cannot imagine better gifts than those - about the locomotive I can't say anything other than it is beautiful and imposing, the Monograph is obviously an exceptional gift (is this in anticipation of your scratch-build). I don't drink, but I am sure that the whiskey is of an equally high standard as the other gifts.
I think I'm as good a boy as any of you. My wife has no real interest in my hobbies, but she supports me fully. By the way, I put the monograph under the tree myself. ;)

Thank you for your likes and comments, I was very pleased. I have finished the preparations for the the installation of the formast. When drilling the cable grommetat the topgallant stay, the drill bit wandered to the side, I did not pay attention. Thus a small repair became due. Everything else has worked out so far, so installation of the bowsprit and foremast can begin soon.

Many thanks for likes and comments. It's time to continue. The bowsprit will be mounted and provided with the associated standing rigging. Standing rigging does not seem quite right, as the bowsprit can be extended and retracted. I follow Boudriot's execution and recognize 3 ropes, which are probably intended for this purpose. No. 16, 18 and 23. I have installed these accordingly.

What excellent workmanship, Adi! You nailed the klinker style!

Thanks for all likes and comments. Standing rigging on the foremast is on the agenda. First I prepared and mounted the chain plates with the rings next to it.
The Coureur has no shrouds but flying backstays. So that the upper ropes of the backstays wound around the mast are the same length, I set position of the upper 4 blocks.
