Le Coureur

The effect of th eglass is looking very good - very good work
Yes - it would be interesting to know which product you used to get this good result

With this size of the window I took a toothpick tip so that a drop forms on the tip. Then started on one of the small sides of the window and carefully pulled it towards the middle, so that a small film is created like a soap bubble. Poke on very carefully until the "glass" turns slightly white, then the next small window, etc.
If the drop is too small, the film will tear. What is nice about the Humbrol is that there is almost no residue on the wood.

Sheets and pillows sewn as well as 5 sacks, 11 barrels made as good as possible. Unfortunately, I don't own a lathe or turning machine, so a mandrel and the drill had to do its humble job, I'm not yet satisfied with the result. Fittings (barrel rings) as well as frames and lids still have to be made. I wish everyone a nice evening.

Looking very good - I am not a big fan of lights for my own models (never tried it until now), but yours is looking really good.
With my models you need a flashlight to see the interiors...... maybe once I should try
Where and how did you lay the cables, so that they are not visible?

Hello Uwe, the red dots mark the area where I drilled through the keel with a 2.5mm drill. The red arrows mark the place where I let all the cables run together and soldered them.
I milled the beams on the underside. Green is the way of the cable. The bags in the hold hide the very thin cables.76D8858F-E63B-452E-9335-414AEF823F4A.jpeg

Many Thanks for your given information Thumbsup
Just checked your introduction in our forum and realized, that you are also living in Bavaria (80km near Munich), so maybe it would be also a possibility for you to come in March also to our meeting in Augsburg? Would be nice to have three Le Coureur models there.....

Oh, thank you very much for your invitation. It's still a while until March. I would like to come and get to know you guys and I'll save it in my diary right away.

Have a wonderful good evening together, the last few days it was hell at work, I was only on the road and couldn't continue building like this, but it was nice sometimes. Yesterday I finished the interior in the stern and today I started with the cross bracing of the deck beams.
