Le Coureur

@shota70 Dear Shota, thank you, of course I wish you and your family all the best for the future and that peace reigns soon, by the way my wife sends you her warmest regards.
@RogerD thank you my friend, I hope that I can do it and I am very confident. I have been reading various reports from our colleagues and one or two books for days. The way I see it, it is probably best to build a device for it so that you don't have to do it in the model.

Now back to the small running, the bowstrip and the main mast as well as the upper part of the main mast are finished and roughly adjusted.

Briefly on the manufacture of the masts, they were partly made from 1 - 4 wooden strips that were glued together. I then worked on them little by little on the lathe at a very low speed, as the length of 46 cm leads to unwanted vibrations. The octagon at the end of the bowsprit was made with a plane.

Good evening everyone, I hope that everyone of you has had a good start to the new year 2025.

Now back to the gun carriages, as Christian @AnobiumPunctatum already mentioned, they still don't fit properly and I have to admit that he is right. So back to zero and a new gun carriage.

The axles are still too long at the ends, these will be shortened.

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.
