LE FLEURON 1/48 POF by Wang - Modelship Dockyard

I love these interior works - all these walls, floors, doors, hanging magaizines, carpenters walk etc.
You can really see how such ships were build (and worked) at these times
Very good progress and good work

Thanks to everyone for their attention and compliments. During this time I have been installing the inner hull plating and adding tree nails to the hull. This process is tedious and long. Here I will focus on answering everyone’s questions; regarding the price of this kit, since I am not the manufacturer of this kit, I don’t know the future price of this kit, but I think its listing price will not be very high. It is expensive, and the manufacturer designed this model to be composed of 4 parts as shown in the picture below. The maker can choose to buy it according to his own needs.Regarding the material of the model and the purchase of individual accessories, the kit is now made of Swiss pear wood. When the kit is officially launched in the future, you can put forward your needs to the manufacturer, and the manufacturer should do its best to meet your needs.View attachment 413624View attachment 413625View attachment 413627View attachment 413633View attachment 413634View attachment 413638View attachment 413640View attachment 413646View attachment 413647View attachment 413648View attachment 413649View attachment 413651View attachment 413652View attachment 413654View attachment 413655View attachment 413658
Fantastic detail and modelling. l love it!!!

saving my $ for the Le Fleuron..at 77 hope she comes soon!Looking at Wang’s (the original author of this thread) profile he has not been seen since May 2024 for whatever reasons, so don’t expect any updates soon. It may be that he was building the model in conjunction with https://drydockmodelsandparts.com/ so might be worthwhile reaching out to them, I could be wrong though.

Just checking in, I know it is likely still early mid development, but do you have a very timeline for the Fleuron?
Looking at Wang’s (the original author of this thread) profile he has not been seen since May 2024 for whatever reasons, so I guess that there will not be any updates soon. Wang said it was being produced by a new company called Dockyard Models, for some reason I thought is was https://drydockmodelsandparts.com/ but looking back further in this thread it is Dockyard Models, maybe they are the same…

Modelship Dockyard is the company producing this kit, based in China, Drydock Models and Parts is a separate company based in Canada, who markets their products and also sells accessories for model ships. Modelship Dockyard is a small company and have just released their latest, excellent kit, a very large project 1:48 scale HMS Enterprise. I believe they are still developing the Flouron kit

Ah yes, you are correct, I bought the Blandford kit from Dockyard Models via a link in drydockmodelsandparts. I suppose that Wang was the only indirect contact to Dockyard Models for the news and build of the Fleuron; it’s a beautiful ship which I would also like to acquire so hopefully it is still being developed.
