Hello dear friends,

After almost nine months of renovation (a complete overhaul of the ground floor) and a torn ligament and capsule in my finger (which I didn't fully heal) followed by surgery, I'm back.

Over the next few weeks, I'll need to catch up and review the progress of your build logs; a lot has happened here.

First, I need to clear the dust from the shipyard and attach the next set of planks. In the next few days, I plan to build a steamer to bend the strips more easily. I've also been thinking about using better (longer) clamps; we'll see how I can implement that.

Now, here's my small progress update.

Nice to see you back building on your model, Tobias. And ‘a small progress’ is progress. Hopefully you have new energy to go on and present us interesting posts.
