LEGO Endurance

Bags #18 and #19.

More work on the Stern and a wee adjustment.

The wee adjustment, the next block to lock in was butting up against the lock (Green arrow) and couldn't lock in.
Filing half of the locking hub off solved that problem.

The result of the fix.

The rounded sten hull assembly locked in nicely.

The rest of the bag contents assembled and locked into place.

Bag #21, #22 and #23.

The blocks in those bags added quite a bit of upper deck detail.

There were a couple of minor problems fitting the decks. The problem was created by the "Master Shipwright's" miss interpretation of the manual. The fix required several Coffee and Snickerdoodle cookies, some fumble finger intervention and viola all is well.

I see we have similar tastes. I just made the connection when you replied to my greeting message about the Oseberg. I also received the Lego Endurance for Christmas. Built it between the two holidays while waiting for the Oseberg manual. She's sitting above my desk at work now. It was quite an enjoyable build. As I mentioned, I've built a lot of Lego to help regain some sort of dexterity after my hand injury. The Admiral is hooked as well - probably worse than me!

Yup, I'm a big Lego fan, especially the construction models. I'm just finishing up the Endurance, the only thing I don't care for are the rat lines.

Congratulations with the finish of your Endurance LEGO-build, Jan. A nice intermezzo with a lovely outcome.
Regards, Peter
Thank you Peter
I had good time with this little project, no sawdust, no glue, but sore fingers

Congratulations, Jan! A nice outcome for this build you enjoyed so much!
Thanks Paul , it was lot's of fun, the Admiral even let me work at the Dining room table.

Now that you're 'warmed up' how about an Occre Endurance for comparison.
Yup, I have given that some thought, but I've got three hulls sitting on shelves waiting for completion and a fourth kit on the way. So .........
