Absolutely gorgeous! Love the finish chosen and how posed for the photo. I have done 2 of these: one in the classic colors and one I did with a weathered look for a best friend, the niece of "Dynamite" (Harold) Payson, known for the Payson dory. I painted one weathered. Dynamite has had 2 dories sitting in a field since I was a kid (He lived a few doors down from us.) They were to go to a restaurant in Illinois, but he never got paid and put them in the field. They had started to rot when I went to college to study art. I took a "kazillion" photos as wanted to use for a painting (pen/ink and watercolor). I gave copies of the photo to one of Dynmaite's sons and the painting to his niece. That was about 50 years ago.
I have flaws as was learning a lot about glue and lots of aggravation not being able to paint or stain without getting "ghosts"--not able to get into crannies to sand more smoothly.
I could take lessons from yours which I repeat: Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing, and I hope you continue with this hobby.
