Marisstella Cog 1:48

The top of the mast where the flag pole is attached gets a last minute cutting/filing work to accommodate a small woolding section.
By the way I used 50mm brown rope all throughout the woolding.
According to the kits box’s art, Zoran made this with black rope.
I don’t know but I used my artistic inclination and went with the brown.
I should put away that inclination in the closet and use my ship modeling mentality.

I just finished painting all of the horses for the ship stables.
Now I’m coloring the rest: barrels, sacs, water barrels, hay bales and boxes.

Hi this is a really nice looking model, it's not one I would have thought of to do myself but seeing the build logs I am very interested in making one. The horses look fantastic have they been named? well done.

Thank You Tony.
Is mind-numbing to use so many colors in just one horse, and that is not counting the time gathering pictures of real horses.
Models are weird when it comes to what you and I like. What seams attractive to one is not for others,
This particular Cog capture my interest because is a very old vessel with, you might say, very outstanding looks.
So it will be the most ancient ship I have ever built.

Well, I just finished feeding all of my horses before the long trip.
It wasn’t easy to tie up all of them in place, they get a little restless when they see inside if the ship.
I also bought hay bales to feed them during the trip, all I need is to figure out how to create the manure. LOL
