Model VICTORY by Deagostini, scale 1/84

Good afternoon friends.
Thanks for the kind words and likes, as well as to those who just stopped by.
I made the stays and elk stays of the foresail and main masts. I set them in place and made a snake between the forestays and the moose stays. Such a snake exists only in these places. I knitted it to the stays using a regular bleached knot. Results in the photo

Wow

Very good work on the rigging - it is looking really good
To do a riggen as that, you need experience. That was why I sent out standing riggen instructions -not finished yet - not to make it too big, still missing parts 2 and 3, but due to the EXTREMLY high response- 4 -Hans -up -out of 15000, I have decided not to send the rest -apart from the member making Endeavour- I am very HAPPY that so many members can do the standing riggen correctly and in the right order

Hello friends! Construction at the shipyard continues every day. Here are some results of the work. I completed the installation of the forestay and moose stay on the mizzen mast. Installation of mast level standing rigging is complete. The model looks like this so far

And suddenly I remembered that my model was missing a rudder blade. Suddenly...
The feather itself was made a long time ago. It was necessary to cover it with brass plates, make hinges, and install all this on the feather and on the body. I cut the strips for the hinges on a circular saw. A sheet of brass 0.5 mm thick was glued to a thin wooden plate with double-sided tape. After that, I cut them on a circular saw with a 0.5 mm disc. Strip width 1.6 mm.

After the rudder feather I went back to working on the rigging. Preparations are now underway for the installation of the standing topmast rigging. But for this you need to do preparatory work on the mars, because then it will not be convenient to do this. On the first, third and fifth deadeyes of the wall shrouds I installed thimbles for fastening the bram shrouds. Yesterday I installed the foresail gimbals. Prepared the ezelgoft foresail for installation. I installed eyelets in it and tied the blocks

Very good work - either the rigging but also the rudder hinches and copper sheating.
Maybe you showed it already once, but how do make the nail pattern on the copper sheats ?
- looking very realistic and also in scale -> so high quality....

Uwek, good afternoon. thanks for the praise.
The copper plates were purchased and already had this pattern on them. In the second photo, where the rudder blade is still black on one side, the shelf with these plates lies on the table. She can be seen below the photo

Many thanks for the information
Interesting, especially it is very good quality with the nailing pattern also inside and not only at the outer edges correct for more "modern" sailing ships -
where do you purchase them?
Do they have also sheating in dofferent scales and patterns?

This company makes them only in 72 scale.
Amati has it in 64 scale:
Ali Express has tape of different sizes, like this one, only with imitation nails.
I didn’t like it, it’s as thick as foil, the tape is self-adhesive, it’s very inconvenient to work with, and wrinkles when smoothed.
Maybe it didn’t work out for me, but it still lies on my desk.
