Model VICTORY by Deagostini, scale 1/84

This build log and your version of Victory will be a source of reference and admiration for many years.

Congratulations on a superb construction.

After it is delivered to the customer will you be building something else? Can you tell us what?

Michael

Congratulations Sasha
It was a pleasure to follow your build. The customer must be very happy. Have you any plans for the future or are you going to take a break from modeling?

Congrats, Sasha! Great job and awesome model! Bravo! A combination of a basic kit and your skills made this Victory a beautiful model! Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup
Dima, thank you. From the basic set here are only the keel frame, frames, guns with mounts on the upper deck and the figurehead with stern decor. The rest is all redone;)

Thanks, Michael. Yes, I have plans for future builds. At least two more models from the box. The brig Mercury from Amati, and the schooner Lastochka from Eskadra. I'll open a new thread here on the forum soon

Thank you, VoytasS. The client hasn't seen the model in person yet. I need to do a photo shoot of this beauty and put it in a case. I'll show you everything later. Of course, there are plans for future constructions. At least two more models from the box. The brig Mercury from Amati, and the schooner Lastochka from Eskadra. Exactly!! This is what we call 'Bashing' beyond the boundaries and limits! The results speak for themselves. Bravo!

To update (and paraphrase) the words of brilliant professional warship modeller Norman Ough, 'The work has to look like it cost $50 an hour, but in reality it pays only $5.'

Friends, hello to all.
So, the construction of the "Victory" model in 84 scale, for the period of the Battle of Trafalgar (1805) is complete. The model is placed in a case, and a photo with the author.
These were great 3 (three) years in my life. Thank you all for your help, support, feedback and simply watching this construction. On this I consider this thread finished. Below are the final photos of the model. See you soon

It was a great pleasure to accompany you in the journey. Your Victory really shows what can be done to simple out of the box model if a person with skills properly takes care of such model. Congratulations on completion and good winds while sailing to a new owner
