Norske Løve update: If I may say it myself, it has been a productive Saturday, but first the rails were finished on both sides last night. Todays work has been the rail around the "staircase" in front of the rudder wheel and the rudder wheel itself. Desided to use nails to fix the rail to the stanchions, so I had to drill a hole in them, Ø 0,8mm in both ends. The rudder wheel is also fixed with nails, one from each side. Made bushings from a toothpick to fit into the center of the wheel, Od Ø1,8mm, Id Ø0,8mm and fixed with super glue. Fiddly work, but I'm quite satisfied with it so far.
A last update for Norske Løve on Saturday: Installed the handrail around the starcase in front of the steering wheel and the steering wheel itself.
