Thanks to the positive feedback from my colleagues, I've decided to share my experience in the topics described in the title.
If you found this through a search, below is a list of what I can share.
I'll be posting links to posts from my building reviews where I detail construction methods in a particular topic.
The list of topics I want to share:
- Plank-on-Frame PoF (using the example of the production of the Alert 1777 kit)
- Duplication of the hull, creation of a base for cladding using 3D scanning and printing.
- Clinker | Carvel Planking (manufacturing methods, calculations, marking, oil coating and jigs).
- Deck Planking and Waterway (creating a base, marking, laying boards and applying oils).
- Nail / nailing (marking and manufacturing).
- Bolt (imitation of bolts, marking and manufacturing). 1 version / 2 version
Plank-on-Frame | PoF
Starting from this page in my review I describe in detail how I prepare, process and glue frames with the keel and deck elements.

Duplication of the hull, creation of a base for cladding using 3D scanning and printing.
Starting with this post, I'll explain how I scanned my PoF model with a 3D scanner and printed it on a 3D printer.
I'll use the printed hull as a base for building a second hull, which I'll be covering with planks.
Carvel Planking (butt joint).
Starting from this post, I will talk in detail about the butt jointing on the side and stern and the fixing of the barhout.
Clinker Planking.
Starting with this post, I'll detail the simplest version of making Clinker Planking.
I'll also cover the second version later.
I also talk about applying the waterline and dividing the boards above and below the waterline.
Next we'll cover markings, jigs for applying lines, nailing and imitation bolts, and much more.
This thread will be updated as I progress with the build. You can also check out my other educational threads in my signature.

HMS Alert [1777] 1:48 POF by serikoff. (Two hulls: skeleton and fully rigged)
Chapter 1. Frames 1.1. Cleaning To minimize constant mess, I tackled the dirtiest part of the work first. (In fact, I did this even before documenting the kit.) The router left a lot of sawdust on the blanks, most of which I removed using a special vacuum nozzle. However, not all sawdust was...

Hello Sergey, the figure turned out really nice and your construction is just great. No wonder you work so delicately. After all, you are a dentist and certainly a very good one! Cheers Günther Ship-1

Today I was finally doing what I had been waiting for - diagonal planking under the stern. And in order. First, according to the drawings, I outlined the angle of inclination of the boards. Then glued together 3 boards... ... before gluing, I made small chamfers on both sides so that...
