Thanks to the positive feedback from my colleagues, I've decided to share my experience in the topics described in the title.

If you found this through a search, below is a list of what I can share.

I'll be posting links to posts from my building reviews where I detail construction methods in a particular topic.

The list of topics I want to share:

- Plank-on-Frame PoF (using the example of the production of the Alert 1777 kit)

- Duplication of the hull, creation of a base for cladding using 3D scanning and printing.

- Clinker | Carvel Planking (manufacturing methods, calculations, marking, oil coating and jigs).

- Deck Planking and Waterway (creating a base, marking, laying boards and applying oils).

- Nail / nailing (marking and manufacturing).

- Bolt (imitation of bolts, marking and manufacturing).

Plank-on-Frame | PoF

Starting from this page in my review I describe in detail how I prepare, process and glue frames with the keel and deck elements.

Duplication of the hull, creation of a base for cladding using 3D scanning and printing.

Starting with this post, I'll explain how I scanned my PoF model with a 3D scanner and printed it on a 3D printer.

I'll use the printed hull as a base for building a second hull, which I'll be covering with planks.

Carvel Planking (butt joint).

Starting from this post, I will talk in detail about the butt jointing on the side and stern and the fixing of the barhout.

Clinker Planking.

Starting with this post, I'll detail the simplest version of making Clinker Planking.
I'll also cover the second version later.

I also talk about applying the waterline and dividing the boards above and below the waterline.

Next we'll cover markings, jigs for applying lines, nailing and imitation bolts, and much more.

This thread will be updated as I progress with the build. You can also check out my other educational threads in my signature.

Jigs

A simple jig for marking vertical nailing or bolting lines on a ship's hull.
Also, starting from this post, I show the principle of connecting Clinker Planking.

Deck Planking.

Starting with this post, I will show in detail the deck assembly from beams and carlings (using the Alert 1777 set as an example)

Deck.

Starting with this post, I'll go into detail about how I create the beams and deck base, and also embedded parts for the mast.

Nail / nailing | Bolt

Bolt
(imitation, marking and manufacturing).

1. The easiest way to imitate Nail / nailing or Bolt.

2. The second method imitate Nail / nailing or Bolt is gluing wire in, cutting it off, and then sanding it. The same principle applies to wooden nails.

3. The most difficult, but most realistic way to create bolts and nails (with textured shape).

I'm glad you found this information useful. Since it could get lost in my endless posts, I decided to create a guide, a summary of all the most important topics and aspects, so that anyone can find something useful by searching by topic title.

Question-Mark If you have any questions, please contact me.

Have a great holiday season and thank you for this Christmas present of great information.

Another excellent and informative set of posts, thanks for posting Sergey.
I hope the holiday season is the best it can be for you. Stay safe.
Thank you, friends, for your congratulations and best wishes. The same goes for you. Thank you for your appreciation. I honestly thought there would be more reactions, but I hope the time was well spent and that anyone searching for what they're interested in will find it.
Thanks, @Norway, @Dubz Modelling World , for the appreciation, I see everything. :D

@serikoff, this is a nice visual tutorial series that you put together. I like it a lot since it can be applied to pretty much any build. Thanks for doing that.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand it's hard to find something specific in so many reviews, so I decided to create this thread dedicated to the planking. There are other threads in my signature; I hope they'll be helpful too.

I sure appreciate the sharing of your knowledge. if i could absorb a small portion it would be wonderful
I'm glad you liked it. You'll succeed, but if you have any questions, please ask.

Hello Sergey,
So you clip the 1mm wire and this forms the bolt head? I can't see how the flanges on the bolts are formed?

I also discovered the fake freenails using the mech. pencil. Unfortunately I use yellow cedar for decks and it's too soft for this trick.

Also, I've never come across fake overlap on clinker!! I'm happy building with the overlap, I'll stick to that!!

Many thanks for this very informative post. Have a good holiday season.

Thank you. I treat the wire edge with a special boral bowl. I explain this in detail in the link I provided. As for the clinker sheathing method, that's a matter of taste. My method is very simple, but I'll use the second option on the second hull as well. It all depends on the situation.
