I'm starting to ✂️ cut the pear plank I bought in the spring. Do you have any action on what he asked you?
Greetings from Valencia

Ahoy!
Guys - Thank you for your interest in the subject of the hull. There are many connection methods. We will try to test a few and choose the optimal variant.

Currently we have moldings with hull elements only. :)

Hi! This is a 2-side machining, I assume, you machine one side first, than manually flip the part and mill the other side, the same way as I usually do too. What do you use for alignment during flipping? I use drill bitts 1.5mm in diameter and they are ok when the blank thickness is less than maybe 12-15mm. But in this case the thickness of the blank is big, maybe 50-70mm. So the mill bitt diameter will be big and I am wondering what should I use.. some kind of the pins?..

This is what I mean, the bitts are positioned simmetrycally in respect to the axis of rotation, so when you flip the part, it is positioned correctly on yhe table for the 2d side to mill
So what's your method for such thick blanks?

Hi all.
Christmas came earlier this year. Unfortunetly I won't be able to start it in near future as I know for sure I can't do two project at the same time.
This suppose to be a back up plan if I were to fail with main ship. I like to have couple of backup plans, so when I get them you'll see them for sure:)

3d visualization pictures were buried in some other unrelated thred, so I just copied them here(If you don't mind @SZKUTNIK Chris;))
There'll be a lot of pictures just little warning
