POF L'Amarante Corvette de 12 canons 1744 1:36 (Ancre Monograph- Gérard Delacroix) By Shota

Hello dear friends
in the Last week I made the cross beams of the upper central deck, on which the rest of the ship's guns are mounted.
First I created one complete board of the deck and the beams.
I made beams 6 mm wide and 4.7 mm high.
On the beam I made a neat drawing of the areas/drawings that would be milled using the mf70.
In addition, I created a simple jig that allowed for tight insertion of the beam from the side and milling in a kind of matching window to the required size (straight milling).
On the other side I inserted and prepared an angular channel for milling at the correct angle.
The work required precision and repeated checking that the drawings were correct and the milling was accurate.
Finally, I created the curves in the beams by wetting them in hot water and tightening them on a rounded jig accordingly.
The results are respectable in my opinion and allow progress to the next stage.:)
until then, have a pleasant and enjoyable weekend to all of us
