These tables are looking very good - not only adjustable in height, but also two drawers - would like to see them, when they are installed and in use

Well, I have limited experience doing product reviews, and it will be awhile before this gets put through it’s paces. Some initial impressions:
- Fedex seems to have done their best to test the durability of this machine. I guess the delay in delivery was a result of them giving it a thorough going-over in some darkened back room with the lathe tied to a chair.
-The amount of overspray on unpainted parts leads me to think the bed and covers were painted after the entire thing was assembled. Should be only cosmetic, but calls into question the overall production process
-Looks like someone used a pipe wrench on the lead screw. The saddle ran rather rough initially in autofeed, but seems to have smoothed out after a few passes back and forth.
-All in all, appears to be a solidly built piece of equipment. A shame the motor isn’t brushless, but that would be expecting too much for the price point.

This is exactly what we need, the review doesn't have to be professional. Your personal experience as a regular user. The product claimed to be precise, we would like to know if this is the case. They have a smaller version like 7 x 14.

Hope this will not be your case, but they have a bad reputation and not pleasant reviews by buyers. Here it BBB

Time will tell. I’m not familiar with Trustpilot, but the reviews I had seen tended to be more positive. I wonder if some of the negative reviews were from those who expected too much for the price they paid. Honestly, when you look at photos of the different brands available, I’d swear they’re all identical: parts all made in one sweat shop, but each manufacturer having their own assembly sweatshop.

One thing that is a big disappointment—which I failed to mention previously—is the operators manual. 1 page for the cover, 1 page for mandatory safety warnings, 1 page for specs table, and 1 page in two sections with pictures on how to turn the machine on and how to turn it off. That’s it. It’s been nearly 40 years since I took machine shop in high school so I had to buy another book just to figure out the basic operation of this machine.

There’s always YouTube. That’s what I revert to (when I can find it).
 
Brought this one today does come with a little story early in the year I saw this at my local recycling centre shop they wanted £80 for it no takers so it's been on ebay for £70 since then so I put in a cheeky offer for £50 and it's now mineIMG_20211201_152411.jpg

I hope we will be seeing a build log on this kit soon one day upcoming.
 
Ok while shopping at local hobby supply store (aka Hobby Lobby for those in USA) I was looking for more brass wire to fill a need for cannon trunnions.

In the jewelry department these caught my eye. Brass needles with heads and eye loops. Both came in antiqued, new brass and silver color packages.

Each package contains 100 pieces they say ( no i didn’t count them). Length are 2” long or about 50mm each. Diameter of wire is .65 mm. Head of needle is 2 mm and eye loop OD is 3.25mm

Cost per pack in Oklahoma was $3.99 per pack

Also at least 20 other assorted models
All models are scratch build
Won't have a dirty workspace...It's not my style :=)
