I am slowly covering the ship's hull.

While I'm waiting for the slats for the hull sheathing, I decided to make the stern port covers.

I haven't decided yet whether to make them open or closed.

I put 2000 wooden nails into the side of the ship. I put wooden nails into the light wood, and copper nails into the black wood. I also make gun ports.

I spent 120 slats on the hull plating below the barhouts

The stern was sewn up with slats

Very interesting build, thanks for sharing. There are similarities to the contemporary drawings of a 70 gun of 1677 by Wille Meischl after the Van de Velde sketches.

I took these plans, only changed the number of guns. After repairs, this ship was given up to 70 guns. Initially, there were fewer

Fantastic work.
I do have one question, did you specifically choose to create a flat upper transome instead of giving it a slight curvature?
Below you see the original upper transome of the Royal Charles (Naseby) at display in the Rijksmuseum which clearly shows a curvature in the upper transome.
