Tnx all. Wanted to buy more cherry. Got good adres from maarten but energy company had great surprise. Moved in to new appartement and only use electrisity and now gas. We have a so called smart display so they can see from their head office how much we use. They told us 3 times that 35 euro each month was enough. Now they came with the surprise that they made mistake and have to pay 400 euro extra this month. So have to calculate the wood i have and if its enough.

Finished the second planking only stern and bow left. Pictures taken with telephone so quality bit low.

Also playing with castings. Made 3 pieces have to sand them little in shape. And at some details. Fun to do.

How did you cast them?

I have put 1 original piece in clay. Then melted pewer with a candle put it in the clay and then i made the stripes with milling machine. Pewer is 98% pure. No lead in it.

Gonna make a copy from every casting in have from the wilhelm zu pferde and trinidad and victory. Also from all the cannons. Gonna add some castings to this build because i saw castings added to kits from the San felipe from other manufacturers at the Stern and decks.

Been bussy with handrails. Had to use lot of my own wood because quality of the kits wood is not that good. Was also not enough. Fixed 1 side so when second side is done i have to cut the wood that sticks out and sand and varnish the rail. Did some work on the inside and had a damaged piece of 1 deck so made a new floor on top.after this gonna close the square holes in the decks because i lost 1 cannon already and cant get it out any more. WorKing with some tranquillizers so bit dizzy. Tnx for watching.
