Denis just got tired of writing to you, the question he is asking you is, what exactly are the decorative elements you have broken ? Send him a picture of what you need and they will send you the item....

That's interesting ,I checked all my junk emails and nothing there, maybe not using the right email.

My Santa Maria build of your kit is going beautifully. Some weeks ago, you posted a video showing your methods for fairing the hull for planking. Today, I cannot find it. It was a great video and covered a difficult aspect of the build. I found your techniques to be very helpful--not only for the Santa Maria but for planking in general.

Several builders of this kit seem to have experienced problems with pre-dimensioned planks provided in the kit. When they laid them out, the planks came up a little short. Most ended up filling in the gaps with putty or using short pieces of other planking to fill sin the gaps. For me, the problem turned out to be in the fairing process. Unless the underlying frame is properly dimensioned, it is very likely that the planks will come out short or long. This is just one of the issues your video addressed. Is it still posted somewhere? If so, where? If not, would you please re-post us and let us know where we can find it?

Thank you

All the videos that were posted on the YouTube channel on the channel and are, I'm not quite sure which video you are interested in....

Hi I would agree with you if all the planks or planks below/above certain point were too short . But how you explain that there are only 2 planks too short ? plank above and below of those two are ok. And there are no bumps on the hull.

In my build, two of the boards had almost no reserve in length, but they were still long enough, even though there was no reserve. In the production kit I lengthened these boards by 7 mm each, so modellers will not have this problem anymore. Although in fact you can lengthen the missing board in 20 minutes, and no putty is needed. I made a video on my YouTube channel to show you how to do it....

Thank you, Pavel!

After receiving your message, I went through all of your videos on the Santa Maria build (learning quite a few new things as I went along). The section to which I was referring is on the video entitled: Santa Maria Step by Step #8, Power Frame Part 6. I highly recommend it for anyone prepping a POF or POB model for planking.

Just finished starboard below water line. No issues with planking at all. Thank you Pavel for a such fantastic kit. I have my best planking experience so far. Whole family is amazed how cool this hull looks!!!

I heard you have plans for Golden Hind, this another Dream ship to build for me!
