"Santa Maria" 1492 a.d. Kit from "Ships by Pavel Nikitin"

Am I correct, that at this stage (#8), you have not glued the bow fillers; i.e., during the fairing process they are held in place by the tabs on the subassembly?

Thank you for providing these videos. I do have a copy of your kit and very much look forward to building it.
The bow fillers are fitted to the contours of the ship's hull and need to be glued of course, apparently I missed that point...)

Is there a reason you are completing the interior paneling in this video instruction prior to completing the exterior hull and bulwark planking? In your printed Guide to Manual, the paneling is not completed until after completion of the exterior (except for the bumper placement). Any other deviations from the printed instructions you would suggest to your builders?

Builders may also want to place the cannons before too much of the quarter deck framing is done, as it will be hard for them to access and secure the cannons. But they can't secure the cannons until the hull planks are in place. Which may be why, in your written pictorial instructions, you don't show the quarter deck framing completed until the hull is completed, too.

Some clarifications on these differences in your building process would be helpful, Pavel. Thank you.

This is the third time I have built this ship from our kit, and each time I take into account previous experiences and difficulties encountered during previous builds. That's why I'm not building it the way it is in my own written instructions. Yes, you are right that it is not easy to install the cannons after the second deck is assembled, it was not easy for me to do it either.... So I want to change the sequence of construction, after installing the inner planking of the sides I want to install five rows of planks of outer planking of the sides, so that it would be possible to install the cannons on the main deck without much difficulty.
And after that to install the second deck beams and the deck itself. Today, the bims are temporarily installed at several points and can be easily dismantled if necessary.

I have enjoyed following along with each step you have taken. The latest installments solves the "mystery" of the gun emplacements problem. Very well done!

Compliments with your build.
Is there a reason for the absence of a hatch that allows the anchor cable into the hold?
There's no particular reason.) I will install two anchor rope fairleads at the stage when I will install the windlass, I can't exactly locate them yet....
