Seahorse Cardboard Models "Seahorse" Products and News

Hi everybody
Today, instead of issue 2, the presentation of the latest model (no. 5) of the "Seahorse" Publishing House, ie the Vice-Admiral Galleon "Wodnik / Meerman" of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which became famous for its daring attack and successful boarding of the much larger Swedish ship "Solen" during the Battle of Oliwa in 1627. In the face of defeat, the Swedes blew up their ship. The construction of the test model is HERE.

Model is printed in A4 offset format:
12 pages of parts and templates
8 pages of descriptions and assembly drawings (in Polish and English)
Scale: 1:100
Difficulty level: 5/5.

There are 8 sets of accessories for the model:
1) laser cut hull frames (2xA4 1mm, 1xA5 0.5mm)
2) laser cut first coverage (2xA4 0.5 mm)
3) laser cut and engraved details, including gretings, poop lantern, ornaments (cardboard and pressboard)
4) laser cut parts for building spars (pressborad)
5) laser cut pressborad set of blocks (170 pcs) and deadeyes (86 pcs)
6) set of dowels for preparing masts and yards
7) set of sails printed on thin cotton canvas (77g / m2)
8) figurehead printed 3D

A lot of time has passed since the last entry, too much...Several more models were published during this period and we currently have number 9.

As issue 6, we published an unusual unit, a river barge that was used to float grain down the Vistula for several centuries. At its peak (17th - 18th centuries), several thousand of them sailed, bringing thousands of tons of grain to Gdańsk and from there to the whole of Europe. Vistula barge

All models have accessories such as laser-cut frames and details, sets of blocks printed in resin, various details printed in resin (gun barrels, sculptures), sails printed on thin cotton canvas and wooden dowels needed to prepare the spars.

Hello, I really love this range of models! My goal is to achieve the same build quality as in these pictures. What I find the hardest is the rigging and sails. Does somebody now a ''How to'' on sails and rigging? Preferable directly on the Seahorse models?
