She’s a beauty Robert!
Looking very good Robert! That is definitely a lot of rigging to complete!2 weeks later , yards , shrouds , booms rat lines , you name it , at the moment just the standing rigging , just a couple of hours everyday , with all the lines everywhere sometimes a struggle not to do any damage , so far so good, I have ordered a display case and they will add a base as well , so that will all look fantastic .

Robert, is this the first sailor?Another week , more shrouds and an unexpected visitor , no idea what it is , but it looks like to climb the shrouds !
Whatever it is ,creepy for sure ! Actually I was going to take some shots in the morning with the Sun shining on the model , still do it though tomorrow but couldn’t resist with this guy on the ropes!Robert, is this the first sailor?
That’s certainly a lot of rigging Robert! I like your idea of using fishing tackle for the bowsprit turnbuckles…great idea!My visitor last night disappeared! I like to show you my progress so far , I use very fine jeweller copper wire as part of securing threads around the blocks and deadeyes , to insert the thread I dip the end with some CA glue to stiffen it and cut the end slightly on an angle and that works fine , it is all a lot of work , but I take my time and jump from one project to the next , it is a big ship and plenty to do ! I hope you like my posts so far .
Looking good Robert!Shrouds finished today , almost two weeks since my last post , next will be ratlines and the yards , so it is all taking shape , I only spend a couple of hours and lots of light is mandatory
Thank you Heinrich , great view in Pittwater , what you see is Scotland Island in front of our house , water access only! Most people of the Island own what they call a ‘Tinny’ or tender to runabout .And there is that magnificent backdrop again! You are doing great work Rob and I really liked the variation that you have built into the lifeboats by displaying them differently. That is an excellent idea!
Thanks Paul , it is spring time now and in the afternoon one of my friends come by for a snack , they love pistachios!Lovely work Robert - and I do love the harbor view!
Thank youWow, wha a great build. Just had my second cup of while working my way through your fascinating log.
