Steam boat in 1:24 from Russian mfg Piroscaf [COMPLETED BUILD]

Woodwork is finished.
Now some metalwork.
In the kit some metal parts are photoetched, some are in resin to be paint.
I am not good in painting, so after one attempt decided to change the resin parts to scratched from brass.
As for me, I think that even a child will tell the painted plastic from polished brass.
Also added nails to the places they should be.

Stoppers. The kit mfg proposed to paint the resin. Tried, did not like the result (port side on the pic)
Decided to make from brass. The test sample on the starboard.

Beautiful looking launch, I have one question was the outer planking pre cut to shape? I cannot see any stealers used this is why I ask.

Thanks a lot for your estimation).

Yes, the planking had been laser pre-cut, so planking process was easy and fast.

In any case, on such a small vessel the stealers are not needed at all))).

After you finish the build, Piroscaf will have to update the kit with deluxe brass fittings
Plastic fittings are never enough for this build
