Check out my review of the kit here: https://forum.dubz-modelling-world.com/thread-57.html

Now it's time to build this small boat :-)

I doff my cap in salute to your skill and ability to tackle a model of this scale. The plastic hull form seems really smart and I've not even seen anything like that before. I'm going to watch your progress on this wee build, as the final result is likely going to be fantastic given the looks of what you've done so far. Very, very nice...

I completely concur! Thumbsup

Cap'n Dirk:
You are indeed doing an exemplary job on this. I am a bit puzzled why the manufacturer of the kit chose such a small scale. The only two reasons I can think of are 1) the profit on smaller kits is greater and 2) there is a need to display this craft along with a larger vessels of the same scale. A 25' boat would make a very nice model at 1/12 scale.
Fair winds!

Unfortunate that the jig has to be destroyed to get the model out, otherwise it could be reused.
LOVE the model. Having grooves instead of spacers does create problems on plugs at times. I made the switch from grooves to tiny spacers and now have a collection of plugs of different size and type boats that can be used more than once. Just another way to get to the same end.
