Fitting the deck in place

March 1. Started first planking
March 3 progress
First planking done. Working on deck hatches etc.
The bulkheads are done waiting to be attached to the decks. Working on the cannons now. Need to paint them and attach a couple on the main deck before the second planking is started as I need to know exactly where they go to get the placement of the gun ports right
Excellent work, will be following.
Stern planked with walnut and waist gunport strips glued in place in preparation to start the second planking.

That first plank is always the hardest. Anyway second planking is underway
So the gunports arefour different sizes so I made four Template plugs so I can cut out the perfect size gunports as I am second planking. Also glued a piece of sandpaper to a clothes peg to finish sanding the gunports
