Titanic Lifeboat [COMPLETED BUILD}

I filled the gap on lower deck by cutting and shaping 1,5 mm thick basswood sticks at both sides. I also shaped two 1,5 x4 mm basswood sticks and glued these sticks on side drawers to fill the gap.

I sanded both ends of planking sticks to about 1 mm as in picture. It is more easy to form the 1,5 mm thick sticks at bow and stern in this way. Planking continues...

Plenty of patience required... I have a model aircraft background and made many model airplanes, but wooden boats in this standart is different than building model planes.
I think part of the difficulty level you are experiencing while building your model, is the clinker style planking. Both carvel and clinker methods have difficulties, but clinker style has some additional challenges. You doing a very good job!

Started from instructions page 25, except drawer covers.

Skirtings【21 - 22 】glued.

I placed a tissue paper inside of hull and traced the floor shape with a pencil, then I cut this tissue as a template. Cutting sticks for transversal floorboards【23】in exact lengths is easier in this way.
