In the curator of models' office at the USNA museum shop was a model of the Constitution scratch built by the great master of miniatures, Donald McNarry in1:192 (1/16"=1') scale. I was building my Baltimore clipper at the time in the same scale. Too tiny to rig the guns, I thought. Then I took a good look at McNarry's model. All the guns were rigged. So, I found a way to rig mine. Fortunately, there were a lot fewer.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave!
I’m using beads to make spritsail yard thimbles. 
It takes a steady hand to paint this. I’m painting between breaths and heart beats. 
The kit supplied three small boats made out of pewter or some other metal. I covered them with cloth tarps. 
A look from above. 
Wrapping the anchor ring with black thread was no picnic. Sometimes I wonder what the attraction is of this hobby.
