USS Constitution - Model Shipways

Oops, I think you overlooked something. I'm not talking about the holes, which you can clearly drill. What about the chocks at the ends? You're going to print it in 3d, I would suggest adding those. What's the point of making the chocks and then gluing them on.
yeah i still have to drill the holes for the shrouds and for the chocks, I was thinking of using the ones I used for the deck. I don't like the chocks that the plans use. Although i suppose i could design it into one piece like you mention. Good idea

Hull and deck fittings progressing. I have cleats, anchor, lifeboats, rudder, and coat of poly left.

Great work on a great ship! Kudos! However, the only issue that I have with the plethora of USS Constitution kits is that they all represent the ship in different periods of her long life. The old Revell 1/96 kit represents her following the 1924 refit while the Revell 1/192 kit is in her 1830s configuration. The Bluejacket 1/8 scale (1/96) is close to her 1812 appearance. The available POB kits are all over the place. So, what year does the MS kit represent?

Please understand that I am not being critical. I genuinely want to know . . .

According to the box, the MS USS Constitution model copyrighted 2010, is based on the 1927-31 restoration and modified by the 1993-97 restoration. Her latest restoration was 2015-2017.
