New design Winchelsea Nef

This kit is of diffent interest for me. I agree that it does work with the Viking kit.
It’s an area of English maritime history that we do not see and forerunner of the
Bremen and English Carvel type ships.
I will buy it when I come across its availability.

I am glad that you understand exactly the idea that gave rise to the ‘NEF’ kit, Together with this kit the “Oseberg” will be available in the same scale as the ‘NEF’, namely 1-32. These two ships absolutely have a place next to each other on the shelf...).

The last report I read on the Nef was Mar 21 2024 This being April 21 what is the latest on the Nef progress ? :) Just got the latest Apr11 looks great can't wait.

You can see in the photo what stage Nef is at today. I plan to finish the construction of this ship by the end of May. 24-25 April the set ‘Nef of Winchelsea’ will be presented in our shop and it will be possible to order it, shipment of this set to customers starts from 10 June....)

Just pre-ordered my kit of the Nef and really looking forward to building it. Do you know of any figures that you would recomend to go with it? Thanks for such great and interesting subjects. This is my latest build I won woth in the Seattle IPMS Spring Show. A Falconet 1763 Russian Boat with Tiller Man.

Thanks Keith

The above photos were before the figure was painted by Bill Chilstrom, and I was Awarded Best of Show Ship at the show. Best ship of all ship entries on March 26th 2025.

Hello, Keith

The figures for the Nef set are planned for closer to autumn in our shop, as soon as they are available I will post pics on the forum straight away. By the way, next year I plan to release one more Nef ship set, the drawings for it are already ready, I was informed about it today by Eugene Troppmann...)))))

My next project is a set of construction plans titled “Nef of Sandwich” – another chapter in my ongoing series of historical ship designs.
