This is my current project, a 1/200 scale 3d printed kit of the old Japanese battlecruiser IJN Kurama under construction.
Hi Bryian, is this a purchase of preprinted parts or did you print them out yourself and then assemble?? very nice model.

Hi there, it’s a model from China. If you go on eBay and search for 3d printed ship model, you will find many ship kits.
Was the deck 3-D printed as well?
Yes, but it’s a disappointing part of the model. The deck planking is oversized for the scale.

Yes, The hull was laser cut by laser creation, world. I added the fishing gear.

Hello dear friends. I’ve built and posted logs of many models over the years but due to family health issues I stopped modelling. My wife knowing how much I’d enjoyed modelling decided it was time to get me building again, to that end she bought me for Xmas a boat kit. Good on her! It is an old but nice kit that she got off EBay it is a Mamoli Royal Louis and yes it got my interest going again.
I’ve started, it’s an unusual way of building the hull and looks like an interesting and detailed build. I intend to do a full build log soon but at the moment I’m trying to complete a build log of my Royal William and I haven’t really got time to do both.
