I’m sure they will.It looks really cool, though, Jay! I’m loving it. I hope mine looks as good when I’m finished.

Appreciate the flowers Reggie.Looking good @Jay ...the rigging and the sails must have taken a lot of effort but it's paid off quite nicely because it looks fabulous. Keep it up my friend.
Yep that’s the best thing about working on a fictional ship. Any thing goes.Great work Jay! And about the lighting - your Jack Sparrow went high-tech - nothing wrong with that!

Thanks Vic, I think I am gonna take a few days off before I start the Soleil Royal.Great job, Jay! It will be a while before I tackle my Soleil.
Congratulations @Jay my friend. Well done. This is quite an accomplishment. The many many hours of patiently putting this together has culminated in this beautiful ship that will put a smile on your face every time you look at it. The first one is always special.
Thanks Jeff. It was fun for me and I’m sure you will enjoy it too.Congratulations on finishing the Pearl. It looks great. I have it sitting under my workbench for a start around the 1st of the year when I complete my current build. Very much looking forward to working on it.
Thanks Reggie. No more excuses now. I may have bitten off more than I can chew on this next one, we will see.Congratulations @Jay my friend. Well done. This is quite an accomplishment. Hi Jay, just came across this. Great idea using drywall compound instead of putty. Way less expensive especially for the larger areas.Putting the final planking’s on. I didn’t like the wood putty I was using to fill in the cracks of the first layer of planking so I used drywall mud as it’s easy to sand and file. Another great improv, using birdshot for cannon balls.Progressing a little further. Still need to paint the copper color black on the captain’s quarters. Added lanterns, anchors and above deck cannons. Thought it needed some cannon balls. Since I reload shotgun shells and the 71/2 shot was perfect for the cannon balls I decided to go
with it.

Chris, yep for what a small tube of wood putty costs you can get a bucket of mud. If you’re not going to see it anyway it’s perfect and easy to sand, file or whatever.Hi Jay, just came across this. Very nice, Jay! I see you used the same flag I did.Welp, I thought I was done with the Black Pearl. Yes and no. I got to thinking about dust. Cases to put your ship in can be mighty pricey so I thought I would make my own. So I ordered the plexiglass sheets, got some sealant and wood molding and put it all together.
