I just checked mine, most line up, except I have a couple near the bow that needed to have the block expanded
 
Your ship is looking great! I like the clamps, thanks for tip. My ship arrives from Amazon on Friday. I got this big scale as I think I would have a hard time with smaller parts but this is my first build and just hope it’s not over my head. Your comments are helpful and reassuring. Thank! By the way, I paid $600 for this kit. It was $70 less on eBay but it would have taken 60 days or more to arrive. Amazon 5 days. Was $600 a good deal? Anyone?

Yes I think it’s a good deal, you may have paid a little bit more than on ebay, But when you consider the time and effort and other supplies you’re gonna put into this model it’s well worth the price
 
Ok, thanks. Perhaps the instructions will explain this “faired issue” when I get my kit but if not can you expand on what you were talking about?

The specs for this model and the ZHL one seem to be the same. I don't know if ZHL makes it or just sells it for someone else but so far it has been a very good model to work on.
 
There is only one model set of S. Felipe , it comes in two boxes of different sizes and it is manufactured by YUANQING MODELS in China.
Different sellers are offering it , some even have different boxes , but the fact remains it all comes from the same source
It is easy to spot the original set if you have prefinished masts in your set, a service YUANQUING offers.
