It’s been a while since I’ve been back to working on her, but I’ve jumped back in and have made some progress. I finished all of the cannons and I have all the masts made and have been working on standing rigging for the most part. Man I love clove hitches…

I think so! I had bought the ZHL sail kit and I don’t really like the look of them, so I did some research online and saw that the Mantua sails should fit so I ordered those. They look much better. If they aren’t what I’m looking for then I’ll try my hand and hand making them.
This is how Ohla makes sails. I used the same technique and although I had no experience, the results were great. Try your hand at it! Ohla used stretch satin, 97% cotton and 3% spandex which makes sails able to be stretched and starched into billowed shape.
I’ve seen her sails, they are amazing! I actually just watched all those videos. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think she had some videos of her making her own rope as well
I also ordered some of the Crown rope you suggested on another thread of mine. Thank you for the tip, it looks really close from what I can see in the pictures
