That big "ornamental" fish anchor.....ugh.....I'd like to replace that. Anyone have any ideas?

It seems like the consensus is that the vertical supports must go. I think it’s time to consider the wales. I kind of wish I had placed the wales (barkhout) before planking the second skin. Also, the ornaments are metal. I don’t have the tools to cut them. They seem a bit clunky. I will have to cut the vertical supports to be able to install the ornaments. Thank you, @Mr.Deep, for your feedback. It helps a lot.I'll try to help you.First I'll ask you if the decor is made of resin or metal? If made of resin, the task is simplified.I just cut out the whole decor separately from the general piece.I hope this is clearly visible in the photo.Next, I advise you to fill the upper and lower parts with scraps of slats on glue.Where there will be an open balcony, I cut off these lintels. But only after gluing in place.then it is necessary to sheathe the flooring of the upper and lower tiers of balconies.I don't know if you'll understand me through a Google translator.I will also advise you to put consoles under the flooring of balconies to support platforms.Approximately opposite the decorative men on the edges of the balcony railings..Make them also some kind of curly , beautiful
I wonder if there is someone out there that could make replicas of those ornaments out of wood or plastic using either a CNC machine or 3D printer? It seems like the consensus is that the vertical supports must go. Have a look at his log
As far as I am concerned, the only pieces of ornaments I had to bend are the 4 metal elements on each side of the rudder
I have to use curtains because the window and door openings are too small and bare wood would show through the wi
Did you use balsa wood for filler? How did you form the wood? Cut? Sand? Both? I have found balsa difficult to form. And why did you break off the upper and lower frames? How will you form the contours?
Looks like Mr. D plans on using some kind of "filler" than shape?Did you use balsa wood for filler? How did you form the wood? Cut? Sand? Both? I have found balsa difficult to form.
