Sounds like you need a piece of construction board to put on your pool table. This will give you an extra layer of protection that the Admiral will appreciate!Good morning. I have been researching more rigging. This ship is a tangle of ropes- I will need to order more rope again. The plans I have (Heller and my Mantua) run the stays from the Mizzen to main mast via single sheave blocks to the deck to be tied off.
Super interesting is that these actually go through metal rings and not blocks (I think the British ran out of wood- (blocks make more sense). Using Longridge (the others Mackey and Goodwin also show this.) Pic courtesy of polish site.

The 3 on the Lower main mast are for the Mizzen stays. The block on the top of the mast is for the top gallant stay(why this one runs though a block???- must be British....like a cup of tea.

These only apply to the main mast as the main stay and preventor stay run to the bowsprit. The Burton pendants are also fitted.

The lashings I have redone black - I tested the contrast but didn’t fit my ship. Red arrow- I got some paint on my pool table- got a bit of a rev from Arlene (the Admiral).

The frightening thing is how many more blocks still to go and for each block there is a rope....Eish
Cheers Grant
