Build log USF Confederacy 1778 Model Shipways 1:64

Hi Werner. I agree, the planking is something I can. only dream about (Just planked my first build if you could call it planked) What technique is used to get the planking flush with the frame?

Very good executed deck fittings - like the capstan -> great work!!!
Do not forget to install the wheels / rolers in the bitts - later on, when the deck is closed, it will be very hard to get access for this work

Hello Uwe, thank you very much!
Thank you for the tip.....I left the sheaves off intentionally because this detail imo does not contribute very much to the overall impression of the finished model.

Stunning work Werner Thumbsup Excellent , I hope to be able to once reach your level of craftsmanship.

And happy birthdayBirthday-Cake
