With the expected installation of bowsprit, the question of how to mount the bow stays arises. Here there are major differences between Boudriot's and CAF's drawing.
On the Boudriot Version, the attachement point is closer to the bow and does not have a post-tensioning option.
The attachement point on the CAF version is much farther from the bow and has a retightening option.
What do you think, which variant is more appealing and should be realized???

When you take a look at all the avilable scratch models of the Le Coureur you can only see the first variant
Thanks for Your likes and comments, as well as your advice. I will go with the Boudriot version for the bowsprit rigging.
Inthe meantime, I have started preparing the bowsprit and the foremast. I started to apply tung oil to the hull,..... and all the guns are in their intended place.

Dear Heinrich, thank you for asking. For my German gauge 0 railroad, there were a class 50 locomotive with cab tender, as well as iron coal cars. The monograph of l'Invention was under the tree, as well as a collection of Swedish whisky

I cannot imagine better gifts than those - about the locomotive I can't say anything other than it is beautiful and imposing, the Monograph is obviously an exceptional gift (is this in anticipation of your scratch-build). I don't drink, but I am sure that the whiskey is of an equally high standard as the other gifts.
