Good evening dear friends
The first stage of preparing the rear gallery in the stern is complete.
The shell was made of ebony, which is not easy to work and design.
I would like to emphasize that the first layer of ebony will be covered with pear and boxwood decorations.
I will attach a photo of our friend Giampy65 beautiful model, which is an inspiration for me and the direction I want to reach in the quality of my work.
Then I attach photos of an intermediate result.

Thanks for asking. I had surgery on my ring finger on March 20th. It was a minor procedure, nothing serious. I'll have to wear a splint for another 1-2 weeks, and then I should feel better. Of course, the reconstruction has been on hold for the past few weeks. Next week, I'm off to Tuscany with our grandson for a few days. I hope you and your family are doing well, too.

Those different wood types work so well together Shota, lovely tones. Definitely way better than painting. Excellent. Yes @Giampy65 is an inspiration to all of us. Cheers Grant
 
Hello dear friends
Today I completed the preparation of the The platform for the galleries on the stern sides . In the future, carved decorations and windows will be placed on them.
The frame/Surface was prepared from ebony wood boards 6 mm wide × 1.8 mm
I will attach two pictures of the amazing work of our good friend Giampy65 and the final result and then my first stage.
One of the issues I faced was maintaining the outline of the ship while creating a smooth surface on the outside.
The decorations will come at a more advanced stage.
At this stage, I am preparing the infrastructure for the parts who made from ebony wood.
The next stage will be the upper part of the planking made of ebony.
Unfortunately, in the coming weeks I will take a break for home care, I believe I will return to work in early June.

Dziękuję Ci bardzo, drogi przyjacielu, za komplementy. Popełniłem błąd łącząc ręczne rzeźbienie z rzeźbieniem CNC 4-osiowym.
Thank you very much, my dear friend, for the compliments. I made the mistake of combining manual carving with 4-axis CNC carving.
