The Anatomy of the Bounty - AL-

Might want to give the forward eye pin a twist to vertical on port side of steering line, it looks awful twisted as it is routed now, would cause lots of friction on rope and wear.

Hi Daniel,
Any chance the wooden part of the anchor is on upside down? It's hard to tell from the pictures. I do love all the detailing!
Correct, they are wrong.

The boat is also incorrect. It isn't the one that correspond to the bounty. The anchors was my distraction when i did them a few years back. But decided to leave as they are. The boat is a Model i did many years back and decided to use it in replacement of the kit boat. Almost same, but not the correct one.

Paul, you are correct. To avoid that my mistake can confuse other modelers, i will delete the images. Will not redo the anchors. For my model they look fine. Nevertheless, as this model have many imperfections, out of scale parts, etc , the best will be to stop my postings here.

Thanks again
Daniel

No worries at all Daniel. My work contains error upon error. Sometimes I fix the mistakes, sometimes I leave them. I don't think I would delete the pictures, however. Your work is a joy to see, and it should be shared proudly. Maybe just make a note, "the anchor stock is on wrong, but I decided to leave it..."

Congratulations on Completing Your Model Build! Completing a model—especially one as detailed and historically rich as this—is no small feat. Your dedication, precision, and patience shine through in every plank, joint, and fitting. It’s more than just a finished model—it’s a story told through craftsmanship, and a tribute to maritime heritage and your skills.

You’ve brought history to life, and you should be incredibly proud. May this build stand proudly on display, admired by all who see it, and may it inspire your next journey at the workbench.

Well done, shipmate!
