It seems that you would have to make quite a few modifications to this kit in order to convert it into the Silent Mary.
However, someone who is skilled with their hands might be able to use this kit as a base to build the Silent Mary.

Yep. But as that ship is already based on pure fantasy, one just has to add a few bells and whistles to make her as fantastic as the Silent Mary.

Well, now, that sounds like you are describing a Tamiya plastic model--that only needs the box shaken for a completed model to come out. I think you are doing a bit of dis-service to the amazing work Mellpapa has done with his Silent Mary.

Nah, maybe I'm a bit oversimplifying it. He's doing an absolutely great job on his model. In fact, I'm just a bit jealous . Mellpapa looks like some sorcerer who knows how to make his dreams come true, with just a few pieces of wood and his hands.

I'm building the Silent Mary for my own satisfaction.
But after completing some parts, I realized there were mistakes in various places,
but I guess it's okay.
I've been building it for my own satisfaction at each stage.
I'm going to keep going as is.
I want to finish it by the end of this year!

Oh, the kind of troubles that come from the sins that one mostly regrets for not having committed them (more often!).

This is the ratline rigging on the main topgallant mast.


Remove the paper, cut off any excess thread, and attach the ratline to the futok shroud section.


Cut off the excess thread, and the ratline for the main topgallant mast is complete.


This is the ratline rigging of the foremast.


Remove the paper and cut off any excess thread. Stretch the rat line across the futok shroud.

I'm finally done with the rat line stretching, which I'm not very good at, and I feel like I've won something...

I tried to make it look normal somehow.
There are some saggy spots here and there, but I'm satisfied because it looks like it should.
Now that the rat lines are finished, I feel like I've won.

The skill of your ratlines is exceeded only by your skill at English so you must not apologize. Here I am living in Japan, and my Japanese is awful. I should be taking Japanese lessons instead of building ships.
