Silent Mary by Mellpapa

Hello, Pepite 1/60.
It seems that you would have to make quite a few modifications to this kit in order to convert it into the Silent Mary. Speechless
However, someone who is skilled with their hands might be able to use this kit as a base to build the Silent Mary.;)
Yep. But as that ship is already based on pure fantasy, one just has to add a few bells and whistles to make her as fantastic as the Silent Mary.

Well, now, that sounds like you are describing a Tamiya plastic model--that only needs the box shaken for a completed model to come out. I think you are doing a bit of dis-service to the amazing work Mellpapa has done with his Silent Mary.

Nah, maybe I'm a bit oversimplifying it. He's doing an absolutely great job on his model. In fact, I'm just a bit jealous :). Mellpapa looks like some sorcerer who knows how to make his dreams come true, with just a few pieces of wood and his hands.

Namabiiru, long time no see.
And Pepite 1/60,
Thank you both for always supporting me. :D
I'm building the Silent Mary for my own satisfaction.
But after completing some parts, I realized there were mistakes in various places,
but I guess it's okay.;)
I've been building it for my own satisfaction at each stage.
I'm going to keep going as is.ROTF
I want to finish it by the end of this year!Ship-1

Remove the paper, cut off any excess thread, and attach the ratline to the futok shroud section.

Futtock: Rat lines were attached to the shroud section.

I tried taking a photo with a white cloth in the background.
That's it for the rat line stretching.
I'm finally done with the rat line stretching, which I'm not very good at, and I feel like I've won something...

Now that the rat lines are in place, it's time for a commemorative photo.
These are images of the port and starboard sides taken from the front at an angle.

Mellpapa, you have done an amazing job with your ratlines, even though you say you are not very good. You should feel like you have won a major victory. It’s easy to see how much work that was. Congratulations!

Hello, Namabiiru,
Thank you for your continued support.
I'm not very good at rat lines, and I felt like throwing up halfway through.
I tried to make it look normal somehow.
There are some saggy spots here and there, but I'm satisfied because it looks like it should.
Now that the rat lines are finished, I feel like I've won.:D
Sorry for my poor English.;)

The skill of your ratlines is exceeded only by your skill at English so you must not apologize. Here I am living in Japan, and my Japanese is awful. I should be taking Japanese lessons instead of building ships.
