Good morning Gilbert. We wont mention the Rugby last weekend......so.....you are making wonderful progress with your Victory. I agree with Paul statement - you are the master of big ships. With the bowsprit etc this must be close to 2m long?

Hello friends
After a 2 weeks break I am back on the shipyard and have resumed the build.

During the last few days, I assembled the 12 quarterdeck cannons (12 pdr short guns) as well as the 2 forecastle cannons (12pdr medium guns).



6 of the short guns on the quarterdeck, behind the quarterdeck screen assembly, are under the poop deck and therefore I did not rig those cannons.



I then rigged the 6 cannons fore of the screen assembly


Finally I installed the 2 medium guns sitting on the forecastle.




Overall picture below



According to the documentation, I believe the next steps should be less repetitives. Let's see

Hello friends
Good progress to report this week

First I installed the ship wheel and the binnacle (missing the chimney right now).






I then worked on the beakhead
- Beakhead capping assembly
- Upper gundeck planking
- Round houses
- Beakhead pilasters
- Beakhead doors and gunports

I still need to do some painting adjustements to the bow and shall be doint that next.
