HMS Victory 1:72 - Caldercraft by Gilbertm

Hello friends
I completed the bow and added the bow gratings. At this stage I have not yet added the 2 boomkins.
I have ordered 3d printed figurehead components and shall work on that once received. I believe they are higher quality than the metal ones included in the kit.

I started the planking of the poop deck but have postponed the completion since I needed to include the wires for the 3 stern lanterns that should be added to the stern fascia. These wires are under the poop deck. I therefore decided to start working on the stern fascia.
Rather than installing

I have ordered very thin wires that could pass thru the small brass tube that will hold the lanterns.
In the mean time, I'll continue the build with the quarter galleries.

Good morning Gilbert. Lovely progress. The bow gratings look fabulous. I remember how crowed that area becomes and some fun rigging lies ahead. Cheers Grant
