Foremast ratlines are done. I took me close to 1 week and about 500 clove hitches.

he rigging is fantastic- did that thread come with the kit cause it looks good?I have started rigging on the foremast and bowsprit.
The ZHL documentation is non existent for this. The only thing you can rely on is the plan that is provided but it does not include sails. Since I want to have sails, I need to be quite careful here. One step at a time.
I have used most of the ropes that are included in the kit but have used different blocks since those provided by ZHL were not super nice.

I used some of the threads that came with the kit but I also used Mantua or Amati threads.
I have now completed the mainmast ratlines and stays.
Now on to the mizzen mast

I emailed Max. He might be able to help. We should make sure we keep the order numbers in case we need to contact the company.
I have now completed the ratlines for all 3 masts.
Below some pictures
As suggested by Mr Deep, I may change the light color ropes that are provided by ZHL to darker ones. I believe it makes much more sense for the various stays. I need to see the most appropriate color.
I am now going to suspend my work on the Soleil Royal as I am leaving for the US and spend the holidays with my kids and grand children (going to Texas and Maryland).
I'll resume work in February.
Before I leave, I believe it could be a good idea to cleanup my workspaceD
)
Of course I'll continue to monitor SOS during my stay.
