Thanks, Daniel. Yes, now it looks like iron-work. It took me about 4 hours of spraying.A well-done paint job Peter. The framework has come alive with it.

Thanks, Paul. Satisfying ….. that the real word after so many hours.Transformed into the real thing... Amazing! It must be very satisfying!
Thanks, Christian. Oeps …. You are right ….. choose the wrong Fushion pictures ……It‘ not a model, it‘s art. By some pictures I thought, that you show us renderd 3D images.
Just beautiful photographic
Thanks, Sergey. Yep, she has also with a lot of ribs.Very cute little skeleton))))
Thanks for so many nice words, Brad. Working with the rivets is delicateWow! Simply amazing. The lines came alive in the various lighting, especially the shadows dancing on the wall.
Those rivets were a painstaking labor of love, but they really make every rib and connection superbly realistic!
Thanks for sharing this log, your ingenuity, and these photos of your ARTWORK in this new and unique medium.
Thanks, Dean. And yes, a real challenge between all the frames. And not to damage the drying painted parts when you see some white parts inside the structure. And then taping the grey to spray the black ……I can imagine painting was a lot of work! Looks fantastic, excellent job Peter!
Thanks for the compliments, Maarten. I stay in close contact with them. Perhaps next Thursday a new visit to the real Balder for detailed pictures of the railing construction. I have the model with me to show them the progress.Wow Peter, showing two hobby's in one post. Perfect model en perfect pictures.
Guess the museum would be interested in these pictures showing the construction of the vessel.
Thanks, Marco. Much appreciated from a fellow 'non-wood-builder' (at this moment).Oh man, this is becoming a thing of real beauty.
Thanks for the compliments, Roger. I, too, am still impressed with the result.Wow Peter, this is a truly impressive model build. The framing and detail is just incredible.
Thanks, Johan. Indeed, besides the building there where many hours of thinking involved.A very well thought out concept and an expertedly performed realization.
